The Transportation Industry

The transportation industry is a very high demand business. A lot of people are traveling in and out of their city or state. They are traveling by car, boat, plane or train. This web site is supposed to tell you about different transportation businesses.

If I owned a transportation business, I would put it where a lot of people go traveling such as New York City because a lot of people go traveling throughout the city and want to see everything there is. It would be better because a lot of people visit the city in a year, there are a lot of places to go to, and it would always have a lot of people using it.

    Right now I want to be either a cartoonist or a mailman when I grow up. If I become a cartoonist, I may have to take a few years of art school after I graduate high school. I don't know what training I will need to become a mailman, but I will probably need some training. I know that I will eventually find a job, but I know that I will find one. I just have to keep looking.
    The mailman might fit in with the transportation industry because they can drive mail trucks. In ten years people might be sending more emails than actually writing letters. Mailmen might not be bringing mail if this happens. They could bring newspapers to peoples' houses though.
    If I become a mailman and they stop using mailmen I could be a person who delivers packages. People order things from the Internet, but they can't grab those things from their computer screen. So I could deliver the things they order to them.
    Technology is making things easier for people, and it may replace a few jobs. Except some jobs, like package delivery person, will still be needed. So the transportation industry will still be around in the future.
